Advert description
I have a comprehensive experience for all levels of mathematics and physics. Whether A-levels or university admissions tests or national competition problemsheets, I have seen a lot of different problems. I am now in the 4th year of a Physics MSc degree at Imperial College London with a predicted 2:1 classification. This gives me a very solid background in problem-solving across a very boad curriculum including, but not limited to:
• Oscillations & Waves, Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Atmospheric Physics, Thermodynamics;
• Differential Equations, Vector Calculus, Linear Algebra, Fourier Transform, Statistics;
• Physics Laboratory & Computing, Electronics, Lasers, Optics, Solids, Medical Imaging Physics.
Besides the exceptionally strong solid background in mathematics and physics I am highly experienced in teamwork and breaking down complex problems into actionable steps and microgoals. I listen very carefully to understand the details and identify key areas to work on. I think a lot of the above skills are transferable to tutoring.
I have worked as an outreach student ambassador at Imperial for a year before becoming a hall senior at a student hall in the past 3 years so I have plenty of experience interacting with students younger than me.
I have all the IT equipments required for online teching including a laptop and an ipad with apple pencil.
Let’s find microgoals and work step by step to reach the biggest achievements as a natural consequence of our work.
