Science and biology tutor for all age

Advert description
I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in biotechnology at INTI International University. And I hold a degree in plant biotechnology from the University of Colombo. Also, I worked as a teacher (science/biology—Cambridge curriculum) at Royal Institute International School, Sri Lanka. In my working period, my students always obtained higher grades (A/B) for science/biology subjects. I'm a passionate educator who loves to teach science using day-to-day activities and always tries to increase the curiosity of students about scientific scenarios. My students are active observers of the world, and I teach them the miracles of our world through science. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as a research assistant at Open University Sri Lanka and as a teaching assistant at the University of Colombo. So I have practical and theoretical knowledge to be an expert science teacher. My passion to teach students and open new doors to them makes me a better teacher.

I have more than 4 years of teaching experience. I usually give the lesson presentation before the class and while teaching the students. So when they get any questions regarding the lesson, I will always give them a chance to unmute themselves and ask questions. Also, I usually give the paper that has the past paper question that came under the topic that we discussed that day so the students can understand what kind of questions can come in the exam related to that topic. Also, from time to time, I send the quizzes to students and get their feedback during the lesson so students can engage the lesson more actively. As the last part of the lesson, I would like to give them the real-life example related to the topic and explain it theoretically or explain the new findings of research related to the lessons. And I'm always open to the students' questions. Every week students have to submit the answers to the paper I give them after the class, and then I'm going to correct the answers and discuss it in the class. I'm doing it individually so I can personally give the feedback to each student, and after each class I will send the class recordings to the students so they can relisten to them if needed.
