RCA, UAL, And Sotheby's-Trained Art History & Curating Tutor | Portfolios, Applications & Academic Writing

Hello! I’m a UK-based curator and art tutor with an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art, postgraduate training from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and a BA in Fine Art from University of the Arts London.

I offer one-to-one tutoring in Art History, Contemporary Art, Curating, Fine Art, portfolio development, academic writing and art-school applications. I also support artists with artist statements, research proposals, portfolio reviews, exhibition development and professional positioning.

My professional experience includes curating exhibitions internationally, with projects in London, Lisbon and Shanghai. My exhibition Danwei Unfolded at TANK Shanghai was developed through an extended research process and received the TANK Curator Award. I have also worked with emerging and established artists, arts organisations and collectors, giving me a strong understanding of both academic and professional art-world contexts.

My teaching is tailored to each student’s goals and level. I can help with visual analysis, essay structure, critical thinking, research questions, personal statements, interview preparation, curatorial proposals and developing stronger links between practical work and contextual research.

My approach is supportive, thoughtful and constructive. My aim is to help students develop clearer ideas, stronger written and visual work, and greater confidence in how they understand and communicate art.

I welcome students from school level through to undergraduate and postgraduate study, as well as complete beginners, aspiring curators and emerging artists. No question is silly and there is zero judgement in my lessons. I hope to meet you soon!
