I am qualified teacher with 10 years teaching experience. I have taught in both Primary and High school. I have recently completed and is now a qualified Celta teacher / tutor.
I enjoy teaching, it's my passion and I could not have chosen a better career. Being able to teach is a very rewarding and humbling experience. Teaching is not only about being the one to give information, it's about receiving as well. When I teach lessons I always include the students as much as possible, I feel it's important to get to know the students. As a teacher who taught children for many years, I feel it's important to build a relationship with them as it builds trust and gives the teacher better understanding as to how the student learns and what they like and enjoy. This makes the teachers job so much easier as it allows the teacher to plan lessons thats best suited for the student. I feel it's a nice way you form a connection and show genuine interest in the them. I always include real life situations (keeping it as relevant as possible) in my lessons so the students are more involved, and I always strive to make the lessons as fun as possible. This way, the students don't lose interest. I feel a lesson should always start off as fun as possible in order to capture the interest of the students, this way, it gives them an idea as to what the lesson will be about.
