I create a calm, engaging online learning environment where students feel confident to participate, ask questions and make mistakes. I explain concepts clearly using visual representations, build lessons on prior learning and use questioning, interactive tasks and regular checks for understanding to identify misconceptions and adapt my teaching. I use technology purposefully to support visual explanations and student participation, while providing appropriate scaffolding and gradually developing independence. I also adapt explanations and resources to meet individual needs, including SEND and EAL.
