Advert description
I am a professional illustrator with an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, the world's top institution for art and design. My key interest is drawing, but I am familiar with multiple approaches to image-making. I have worked on a variety of projects in the industry, from commissions for cultural institutions and global companies to smaller projects for private clients. I now specialise in creating illustrations for international media outlets, such as The New York Times and The New Yorker.
My lessons are for anyone interested in becoming a professional artist or developing a personal visual practice. I will teach you how to develop your personal style by providing references and exploring traditional and digital media. We will be working on illustration briefs and pitching ideas, creating a professional portfolio, learning how to promote your work and reach out to potential clients and collaborators, and building the skills needed to work in this field and/or bring your passion to the next level.
Lessons can be adjusted to your level of experience and personalised according to your interests. Whichever stage you're at, I have been through it, and I am excited to work together towards your goals!
