Professional chess coach rated 2500 online with 6 years experience, combining productivity with enjoyment for effective learning

In my 6 years of teaching chess, I have taught chess camps with up to 20 children as well as one-to-one private lessons for all ages and levels. I am rated 2500 for rapid on Lichess, placing me in the top 200 on the platform.

My goal is to create a positive learning environment and unique connection with each one of my students to maximise engagement, enjoyment, and progress.

For most chess players, the biggest hurdle isn’t a lack of knowledge—it’s their thought process. Along with teaching new material, I emphasise developing the right thinking methods, ensuring players can effectively apply their knowledge

My lessons consist of practicing middlegame strategy, theoretical endgames, going over tactical and positional puzzles, calculation techniques, and opening preparation. I dedicate the first half of the lesson to teaching new concepts which is followed by exercises to implement the above theory into practice.
