Positively into learning! SEN/SEMH - English up to GCSE level -Life coaching/ behaviour mentoring

Hi, learn some mindfulness and wellbeing techniques, while catching up on English work!

I am an experienced learning and behaviour mentor with a large background which predominantly specialised in "mindset to education". To be specific I pride myself on being able to motivate and encourage young people to have a more open approach to learning and to take their education more seriously.

My experience comes from a background of working with students on the Autistic spectrum for the last 5+ years. I have had roles in specialist location's such as JCoSS's PSRP and CCCG's provisions at their various sites.

I use a combination of light structure, which allows me to cater and respond to the individuals needs (eg. more learning /less mentoring and vice versa). Humour and discipline in balance with lots of room for creativity.

In terms of subjects, my strongest would be English, but I can cover subjects such as Art and Maths due to my experience. I must reinforce that my expertise is on behaviour, particularly of those on the Autistic spectrum - depending on their level, the number of subjects I can teach can increase.
