Phonics, Literacy & Maths Private Tutor & 4+ Assessment Preparation | Ages 3–7

I’m a qualified primary school teacher with 15 years of classroom experience, offering personalised one-to-one tuition for children aged 3–7 in phonics, early literacy, reading, writing and primary maths, as well as 4+ assessment preparation.

Every child learns differently, and my teaching is tailored to their individual starting point, needs and learning goals. I take time to identify what a child already understands before building on their knowledge, helping to strengthen foundations and develop confidence along the way.

My lessons are practical, engaging and hands-on. I use a combination of games, discussion, questioning, visual resources, practical activities and carefully chosen written tasks to make learning meaningful and enjoyable. My aim is for children to understand what they are learning, rather than simply complete worksheets or memorise answers.

For younger children, sessions are adapted to their age and attention span, with plenty of opportunities to learn through play and practical exploration.

I also offer daytime tuition for home-educated children, either online or in person across SW London.
