Personalized Biology GCSE Session for you

I have a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, in addition to my current position as a biomedical engineer specialising in regenerative medicine, stem cells, and cancer biology.
My 45-minute trial GCSE Biology session gives students a complete experience of how my lessons work while covering a focused topic. The session begins with a short warm-up assessment to check prior knowledge, followed by clear learning objectives to guide the lesson. I then deliver a concise, engaging mini-teaching explanation using diagrams, examples, and quick questions to reinforce understanding. After that, we work through an exam-style question together, teaching the student how to analyse command words and structure high-mark answers. The student then completes a short independent practice task, receiving immediate, exam-standard feedback. We finish with a brief summary of strengths, areas for improvement, and recommended next steps, ensuring the student and parent have a clear picture of progress and future learning plans. So the session will be as follows:

1- Warm-Up Check – Quick assessment of prior knowledge.

4- Guided Exam Practice – Solve an exam-style question together, focusing on structure and command words.
