I am a patient Mathematics tutor helping Grade 11–12 students succeed.

I have a strong academic background in Mathematics and Computer Science, including a BSc in Mathematics and a BS in Computer Science. I also have previous teaching experience with Grade 11 and Grade 12 Mathematics students. I am comfortable teaching topics such as algebra, functions, equations, quadratic functions, trigonometry, graphs, sequences, and mathematical problem-solving. My teaching approach is based on clear, step-by-step explanations. I first identify the student's current level and the areas where they are struggling. I then explain the concept using simple examples before moving to practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning so I can identify and correct misunderstandings. I believe mathematics should be understood rather than simply memorized. Therefore, I focus on helping students understand why a particular method works and how they can apply it to different types of questions. I also use practice exercises to reinforce each concept and gradually increase the difficulty as the student becomes more confident. My goal is to create a patient and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and improving at their own pace. I aim to help students strengthen their mathematical foundations, improve their problem-solving skills, prepare for tests and exams, and become more confident and independent learners.
