For me, teaching starts with actively listening to the needs of the tutee. Only then would I proceed to break it down, starting from the fundamental things they need to understand, and then proceeding to see real life examples of an answer before attempting it themselves, with my help. I also like to incorporate videos into my lessons as many students are visual learners
