"As a Physiotherapist, I have an ample depth and breadth of knowledge concerning the human body, its systems and how they function-- which is a major focus area in biology. Not only do understand these concepts, but I also apply them in my daily work, giving me an advantage in teaching them. I am well versed with topics such as human anatomy, physiology, neurobiology histology, etc. which are cornerstones of the biology curriculum. I believe my medical background will enable me to make complex concepts easier for students to understand by illustrating real-life scenarios. In addition, my experience in patient education made me skilled in simplifying the hard medical terminologies into easier language that can be understood by all. In short, I feel that my thorough knowledge, practical experience, and an ability to simplify complex ideas would make me an asset as biology teacher
