I am a passionate Mandarin teacher who teaches learners of all ages and levels, from children and absolute beginners to GCSE and A-Level students, adults, and intermediate or advanced learners. I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, level and learning style, making lessons fun, interesting and engaging while maintaining a clear structure and focus on progress. I particularly enjoy using storytelling to bring Chinese characters, vocabulary and language to life, helping students build vivid visual memories and remember what they learn more naturally. Alongside exam preparation and targeted practice, I aim to build confidence, curiosity and genuine enjoyment of Mandarin, encouraging students to become independent and lifelong learners.
