Oxford PhD student available to help with Oxbridge Applications & Academic Writing

Hi! I'm Amu, a second-year PhD student at the University of Oxford.

I received offers from Oxford at undergraduate, master's and PhD level, including two fully-funded scholarships. I have also supported a student with their postgraduate applications who then received a fully funded offer from Oxford as well as an offer from Goldsmiths University.

I offer support with:

1) Oxbridge applications (social sciences/humanities)
2) Academic writing (UK-focused): First-class undergraduate degree and Distinction at master's level
3) British English (speaking & listening): Native speaker from London
4) Japanese (beginner to intermediate): JLPT N1, half Japanese with several years living and working in Japan
5) Spanish (beginner): DELE C1 with experience living in Colombia

In the past I have helped students with academic writing and language learning on a more informal basis, however, now I am offering structured lessons.

If you decide to learn with me, in our first session, we will start by identifying your strengths and areas for improvement before building a personalised plan. The aim of this is to help you develop a well-rounded skill set, whether that’s improving your academic writing, strengthening your Oxbridge application, or building confidence in whatever language you may be learning.
