Advert description
I have experience as a secondary school science teacher, which gives me insight into the challenges students face. As someone with autism and ADHD, I understand neurodivergent learning needs and adapt my approach to support them. I have been praised for my listening and reflection skills, which help me build trust and personalise learning for each student.
I work with students by giving them space to share their experiences and ask questions. This helps them develop self-awareness while allowing me to understand their needs. For example, we might explore how neurodivergence affects sleep, diet, socialising, or reading tasks. Together, we identify which aspects of a task are genuinely challenging and co-create strategies that work for them. This approach helps students build confidence, develop practical tools, and tackle school challenges with motivation while preparing them for success beyond the classroom.
