Advert description
¡Hola!
I'm Natalia, a native Spanish (and Galician) speaker with a degree in Primary Education and four years of real classroom experience — from public-school teaching practice to private tutoring. I also spent several months immersed in an English-speaking environment in the UK, which pushed my own English to C1 level. That experience taught me first-hand what it feels like to learn a language as an adult, and it's something I bring into every lesson.
I offer 1-to-1 lessons, online or in person, fully adapted to each student's age, level, and goals — whether you're 6 or 76.
For children, I use games, stories, songs, and playful repetition to build vocabulary and confidence without pressure or boredom.
For teenagers and adults, I focus on real conversation, practical vocabulary, and grammar explained clearly and simply — no endless verb-conjugation drills or rote memorization.
For older adults, I keep a calm, patient pace with plenty of repetition, encouragement, and no pressure to "perform."
Whatever your age, most lessons follow a simple rhythm: a short warm-up to activate what you already know, guided practice with new material, and a communicative activity — a role-play, a short reading, or free conversation — where you actually use the language rather than just studying it. I track your progress after every session and adjust the next one accordingly, so lessons build on each other instead of repeating themselves.
I also bring in Spanish and Galician culture along the way: everyday expressions, traditions, and the small cultural details textbooks tend to skip. My goal isn't just correct grammar — it's giving you the confidence to actually use Spanish in real life.
I'm patient, easygoing, and genuinely enjoy adapting my teaching style to whoever is in front of me. If that sounds like a good fit, I'd love to have you in my first class!
