Advert description
Not everybody grasps concepts in the same way, but educators in teaching environments do not always have the time or facilities to tailor to everyone's needs. When teaching, I often try to take real-world situations and apply them to concept we are trying to understand.
I find it is always best for someone to explain to me parts the task, assignment or theory that they are most comfortable with, first. From there we explore the loosely understood parts, until we get to the area that we need to focus on.
At that point, we look at a person's (mis)understanding of the theory, how they got to this (mis)understanding and together find the best way to understand or grasp it, correctly.
In essay writing, I try to break things down into small tasks. In Psychology, there is often no wrong answer if you can justify and find evidence for your argument. So we will focus on what your argument is, and how we can corroborate it.
