Native Chinese speaker, fluent in English

Hi! I’m Yuchen, a native Mandarin speaker and a graduate of the University of Edinburgh. I achieved an A* in Cambridge International A-level Chinese and would love to help students improve their Mandarin and feel more confident using the language.

My lessons are friendly, patient and tailored to your individual goals. Whether you’re a beginner learning Mandarin for the first time or a student looking to improve your speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation or exam performance, I’ll adapt our lessons to suit your needs.

I believe language learning should be practical and enjoyable. We can practise everyday conversations, work on pronunciation and grammar, and explore Chinese culture through real-life examples. With my background in illustration, I also enjoy using creative and visual approaches to make learning easier and more engaging.
