I hold a degree in Digital Music Technology from London Guildhall University, specialising in psychoacoustics and electronic engineering, and I have spent over 25 years working professionally in audio. My background covers studio recording and production, live sound engineering for gigs and events, venue operations, artist management and music technology research and development. Most recently I co-founded SetMixer, a music tech company building AI-powered devices that record live performances in venues, where I worked hands-on with audio quality and processing at scale. I work daily in Pro Tools, Nuendo, Wavelab and Melodyne, among other tools. In lessons I bring that real-world experience to your own projects. We cover recording, editing, mixing and mastering, along with the theory of how sound behaves so you understand why a technique works, not just which button to press. Sessions are practical and tailored to your level, whether you are producing your first track or preparing for a career in studio or live engineering.
