I'm Nourhan Ibrahim Ghoneim, Acting Head of the Maritime Department (consists of 2 programs, Deck officer program and Marine Engineering Program)- International Maritime College Oman (IMCO) – National University for Science and Technology. I’m working as Assistant Professor for 7 years because the first 3 years were in different University in Egypt, then I’m working in Oman waiting for next September to be promoted as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department, because the promotion policy of the university says that the candidate should pass 4 years since his/her joining to the university.
