Maths Tutoring By Experienced Maths Graduate

Hi!

I am a graduate in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow, in Scotland, with over nine years of experience providing private lessons in the UK and abroad. I also have experience as a high school teacher and I am currently a substitute professor at university.

I offer private online lessons in Maths for students doing the IB, GCSEs, A-levels and Scottish Highers as well as first year undergraduate level. I live in Barcelona, but I am familiar with the education systems in the UK as I have experience working as a tutor in Scotland as well as international schools in Spain.

I started doing most of the teaching online, I have a digital whiteboard and it works as well as in-person lessons. I conduct the classes in a very pragmatic way, adapting to the needs of the student, whether that be just solving exercises or revising theoretical concepts.

The majority of my students have been satisfied and have achieved good grades. Learning mathematics is about understanding and practising rather than memorizing. With insightful explanations and a minimum of dedication from the student's part, maths can become quite easy.

The standard price is £25/hour for high school students, or £30 university students. In my experience, an hour and a half is the ideal time. For small groups, I charge half the fee per person.
