Maths and science tutor for children age 3-16 with 4 years experience offering virtual lessons

My name is Gemma, I achieved all A grades at GCSE (nine subjects at grade 9 (A) and one at grade 8 (A) ) and I now study veterinary medicine at the number 1 ranked university in the world, having achieved A*A*A in my A-Levels. I have tutored children online from age 3 to GCSE since 2021, including children with special educational needs. I love working with children, I have also worked as an au pair, at a summer holiday camp and a creche so I am passionate about helping tutor children. I enjoy getting to know the child so I can work with their guardians to develop a personalised plan, helping their child to reach their full potential. I have lots of resources for a variety of subjects from primary school to GCSE teaching, therefore I am fully equipped to help the child. I follow the syllabus of the child's school to ensure our sessions are closely aligned with their school teaching. However I also enjoy matching the teaching to your child's own interests to keep them engaged in the material. I try to make my sessions as fun as possible to culture a love of learning from a young age that will hopefully stay with the child as they develop, fostering independent learners with inquisitive minds.
