When I started learning with Saudi, I said I wanted to be able to hold a reasonable conversation with my Arabic family in 10 months. I spoke Arabic fluently as a child (but hadn't done so in about 30 years at the time), so it was a reasonable request. It was tough going, and he really pushed me, but I accomplished goal, and also established a good foundation to build on myself. My young daughter now takes up most of my spare time, or I would still be one of his students now. Very knowledgeable, and a good man.
