Hello! I'm Umair, an enthusiastic and patient online tutor specializing in UK law and international business law. With my LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London (completed through Pakistan College of Law), I have deep familiarity with the full qualifying law degree curriculum. This includes all core foundation subjects: Contract Law, Criminal Law, Public Law (Constitutional and Administrative), Tort Law, Property Law (Land Law), Equity and Trusts, EU Law, as well as key optional and commercial modules like Company Law, Commercial Law, Jurisprudence and Legal Theory, Legal System and Method, and more.

I recently earned my LLM in International Business Law from Ghent University in Belgium (completed July 2025). My studies emphasized European and Comparative Law, Corporate Governance, EU Banking and Capital Market Law, International Commercial Arbitration, Mergers and Acquisitions, International Business Transactions, Data Ethics, and Contemporary Issues in Intellectual Property Law. My master's thesis explored "Restoring and Enforcing the Concept of Mediation in Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS)," requiring extensive research into cross-border regulatory frameworks, dispute resolution, and practical enforcement mechanisms.

A highlight of my training was competing in the 31st Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in 2024. I presented oral arguments in Vienna and participated in international pre-moots in Prague (Charles University) and Brussels, organized by leading firms like White & Case and Linklaters. This experience built strong skills in legal research, drafting memoranda, analyzing complex issues (including GDPR in arbitration), and crafting persuasive arguments — perfect for helping with problem questions, essay writing, case analysis, and exam preparation.

I bring real teaching experience too: as a part-time Lecturer at Vanadium Law School in Lahore, Pakistan (January 2022–July 2023), I taught undergraduate students European Law and English Contract Law. I integrated academic theory with practical insights from my concurrent legal practice, helping students grasp difficult concepts through clear explanations and relatable examples.

Professionally, I worked several years in Pakistani law firms as a Junior Associate (Waleed Law Associates, 2022–2023) and Paralegal (Prime Law Company, Axis Law Chambers, HGLA Barristers.
