Advert description
I’m a lawyer and recently completed my PhD at the University of Sussex, where I explored how Black women in England and Wales experience workplace sexual harassment and seek justice. My research combined legal analysis with lived experiences to understand how the law work, and often doesn’t for those it’s meant to protect.
While doing my PhD, I taught first-year law students across three modules. I enjoy helping students grasp legal concepts in ways that are clear, relevant, and engaging. I draw from case law, but also music, current events, literature, and activism—because I believe law should connect with the world we live in.
Before academia, I worked as a solicitor. I now consult on workplace culture and harassment, which means I bring both practical and academic insight to my teaching.
Whether you're struggling with a tricky topic or want to deepen your understanding, I aim to make learning law accessible, thought-provoking, and relevant beyond the classroom.
