Advert description
As a qualified teacher, former Head of Department and experienced examiner for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge and WJEC, I bring over 13 years of classroom, leadership and private tutoring experience to every lesson.
I specialise in GCSE and A Level Geography, Psychology, Environmental Management and Environmental Science. I also support students at KS3 and GCSE in Religious Studies, History and Science, as well as 13 plus entrance preparation and adult learners.
My lessons are clear, structured and strongly focused on exam success. I help students understand exactly what examiners are looking for, how to structure high quality answers and how to turn subject knowledge into marks. Complex topics are broken down into simple, memorable explanations so students feel more confident and less overwhelmed.
I have extensive experience supporting both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s learning style, confidence level and target grade, whether they are aiming to build secure foundations, move up several grades, or reach the highest marks.
Lessons usually last 60 minutes and include interactive tasks, targeted revision strategies, real exam questions and detailed feedback. I can also support students with essay writing, exam answer improvement, case study knowledge, NEA coursework and revision planning.
Students receive access to high quality revision resources, videos and materials that I have created, at no extra cost.
My aim is to make learning feel calm, clear and achievable, while giving students the skills, confidence and examiner insight they need to succeed.
