I love tutoring maths and have done so for a while now.
Maths is a subject that builds on itself, because of this I’ve always made a point of really understanding something before moving on, rather than just accepting it, this means I’m always able to explain HOW we got to a certain solution. I focus on teaching the process of how to answer that type of question, so whatever is learnt can be applied to other unseen questions, like those in an exam. I focus on active learning, practice questions and past papers as I believe it’s the best way to learn.
