I have been tutoring maths GCSE for 6 years including group sessions and 1-1 to a wide range of students from nursery to GCSE.

My technique is ensuring strong basic maths foundations before moving onto the complexities. Building the child’s confidence is extremely important so firstly I teach them the method of the question through showing an example , then I guide them in questions until they can complete them independently before moving onto the next topic. Then tackling as many past paper exam questions as possible which I believe is the key to mastering GCSE mathematics.
