ABOUT THE TUTOR

Marina graduated with a first-class honours from University College London (UCL) in Biomedical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence (MEng). She has worked with Microsoft Research, Adobe Research, and Johns Hopkins University on a variety of research and engineering projects in the fields of computer vision and human-computer interaction. This work included projects such as developing a system to analyse dance motion from video using machine learning, or designing an augmented reality-guided dance game for prosthetic rehabilitation of amputees. She has been a lecturer at the London Interdisciplinary Schoo,l where she designed and taught an undergraduate course on programming and data science. For the last four years, she has also been working as an interviewer with Karat, interviewing over 400 candidates for technical roles at a vast range of tech companies.
