I am currently working at Avon House Preparatory School as the Welfare Administrator where I am the first point of contact for all pupils and staffs wellbeing. My responsibilities are to meet the needs of individuals who may be displaying physical or emotional distress. My training and experience has given me the confidence to assist students and teachers to maintain a healthy experience at school.
My previous role at Ilford County High School as Admin/welfare assistant where I have developed a wide range of skills that would meet, and exceed the expectations for the role. My responsibility as an admin assistant gave me the opportunity to gain various administrative knowledge where I am also supporting the reception and attendance team. My responsibilities include handling students in first aid, liaising with parents, answering telephone enquiries and ensuring relevant pupil medical information is recorded using the appropriate processes and systems. As the first point of contact for the student window I am responsible for all of the student enquiries including and not limited to parent pay, class charts, student ID cards and uniform orders.
Whilst working at ICHS I feel that I have the ability to multi-task and perform pro-efficiently at everything I do, and understand the importance of respecting team members, working as a team but also working independently with my own initiative. I am a driven individual who aims to meet targets and deadlines, whilst holding a high performance with the full knowledge of the principles that need to be evident to achieve high standard
