Hello, future students!

My name is Kate attwell, and I’m excited to be part of your learning journey. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Biology, so I have a strong understanding of the subject and know how rewarding it can be. However, I also understand how stressful and challenging GCSEs can feel, especially when there is a lot of content to learn and exams to prepare for.

My goal is to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and learning from mistakes.

My teaching approach is student-centred. I believe everyone learns differently, so I aim to explain concepts clearly, break down difficult topics into manageable steps, and use practical examples to help you understand and remember key information. I also encourage active participation and will adapt my approach to suit your individual needs.

You can expect me to be patient, approachable, organised, and supportive. I will provide clear guidance, helpful revision strategies, and constructive feedback to help you build confidence in your abilities. Having been through GCSEs myself, I understand the pressure you may feel, and I want to help make the learning process feel less overwhelming.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking for help, and challenging yourself without feeling judged. I believe that with the right support, practice, and encouragement, you can achieve your goals and feel more confident in Biology.
