I hold a First Class MSc in Media and Communications from The London School of Economics (LSE) where I graduated at the top of my class, receiving the Excellence Award. I hold a First Class BA in Ancient History and Philosophy from The University of Leeds, where I was awarded The Lionel Cliffe Prize for best dissertation. I studied journalism at The School of The New York Times, where I developed advanced research and writing skills, and made key connections with professionals in the New York media landscape. I have strong French language skills, gained from three years living in France.
Alongside this academic record, I have published academic and journalistic work on multiple platforms. My most recent project will be published in a 2026 Routledge Handbook on media and migration studies.
My tutoring experience spans from early years to university level, including English and History support, English language and debate coaching, and academic writing guidance. I take a case-based approach to every student. Before we begin, I work with the student (and parents where relevant) to understand their goals, challenges, and preferred learning style. Each lesson is tailored to those aims. My focus is always on building skills and confidence that students can carry forward independently.
