Advert description
Your first Physics lesson is completely free.
Send me any topic, concept or problem you would like help understanding, and we can use it for the first session. There is no commitment afterwards — if you enjoy my teaching style and find the lesson useful, we can then discuss what you would like to work on going forward.
I hold a Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics and have been tutoring Physics and Mathematics for several years. I teach students across a very wide range of levels, from secondary-school Physics through to undergraduate and more advanced theoretical Physics.
I can teach:
• GCSE Physics • IGCSE Physics • Combined Science Physics • Triple Science Physics • AS Physics • A-Level Physics • International A-Level Physics • IB Physics • AP Physics 1 • AP Physics 2 • AP Physics C: Mechanics • AP Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism • Scottish National 5 Physics • Higher Physics • Advanced Higher Physics • Foundation/Access Physics • introductory university Physics • undergraduate Physics • mathematical Physics • theoretical Physics.
I can help with mechanics, kinematics, forces, energy, momentum, rotational motion, gravitation, oscillations, waves, electricity, circuits, electric and magnetic fields, electromagnetism, thermal Physics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, optics, special relativity, introductory general relativity, quantum Physics, quantum mechanics, nuclear Physics, particle Physics, classical mechanics and mathematical methods for Physics, as well as exam preparation and problem solving.
My teaching style focuses on intuition and genuine understanding rather than memorising procedures. I use visual explanations, interactive simulations and Socratic questioning to help students reason their way through Physics and understand why the mathematics works.
Lessons are adapted completely to the student. If you are preparing for an exam, we can work systematically through the syllabus and past-paper problems. If you are struggling with one particular concept, we can slow down and rebuild it from first principles. For university students, we can work through derivations and more mathematically demanding material in depth.
For your free first lesson, simply send me a Physics topic or question you would like to understand and we can begin from there.
