Experienced and supportive KS1 and KS2 tutor helping children reach their potential with SATs.

I offer tailored one-to-one tutoring sessions that are engaging, structured and focused on each student’s individual needs. My lessons combine clear explanations, interactive activities and guided practice to help students build understanding, confidence and a positive attitude toward learning. I adapt my approach depending on each student’s learning style, pace and areas for development, ensuring lessons are challenging but achievable.

I have experience supporting children across primary education, including those who need extra help with learning, behaviour or emotional regulation. I aim to create a calm and supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes and grow. My approach is child centred, patient and encouraging, helping students to stay motivated and develop independent learning skills.

I also focus on building a trusting relationship with each student, while maintaining professional boundaries. I am highly aware of safeguarding responsibilities and ensure a safe and respectful environment at all times.

Lessons can include a mix of reading, writing, maths, problem solving and discussion-based learning depending on your child’s goals. I can provide regular feedback to help track progress and celebrate achievements, making learning rewarding and enjoyable.
