Advert description
Hi! I’m Sofia, an experienced Physics and Maths tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience. I’m currently completing my Master’s in Physics at King’s College London, and I love helping students of all levels discover that maths and physics can actually be enjoyable and rewarding.
Over the years, I’ve worked with teens preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, and university entrance exams, as well as students who simply wanted to feel more confident in class. My tutoring style is friendly, patient, and adaptable—I always start by understanding your learning style and goals, then design lessons that make sense for you. Whether you prefer step-by-step explanations, lots of practice problems, or real-world examples to connect theory with everyday life, I make sure our sessions are engaging and clear.
I believe the key to success is building both understanding and confidence. That’s why I focus not only on the “how” of solving problems but also the “why” behind concepts. This approach helps students move beyond memorisation and develop genuine problem-solving skills that stick. Many of my students have told me they not only improved their grades but also started to actually enjoy subjects they once found intimidating.
What you can expect from our lessons:
- Clear, structured explanations at your pace
- A safe, encouraging space to ask any question
- Practice tailored to your exams, coursework, or personal goals
- Tips and strategies for tackling tricky problems with confidence
- A supportive tutor who’s genuinely invested in your progress
Whether you’re aiming for top grades, preparing for university, or just trying to finally “get” physics or maths, I’d be glad to help you reach your goals.
If you’re ready to start learning in a way that feels supportive, motivating, and even fun, I’d love to hear from you!
