Experienced Biology educator helping secondary students understand science with confidence.

I am an experienced science educator with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, specialising in Biology and also teaching Chemistry, Integrated Science and Mathematics. I hold a BSc in Plant Biology and Biotechnology, a PGDE in Integrated Science and an M.Ed. in Curriculum Studies and Instructional Technology. I have taught students preparing for national and international examinations, including WASSCE, NECO, JAMB and Cambridge IGCSE Biology. I also have experience teaching Biology and Mathematics online to students in different learning contexts. My lessons are student-centred and focused on genuine understanding rather than memorisation. I break difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps, use diagrams, worked examples, questioning and real-life applications, and adapt my explanations to each student's level and learning needs. For exam preparation, I use past examination questions to develop both conceptual understanding and exam technique. My goal is to help students become confident, independent learners who can explain what they know and apply it to unfamiliar questions.
