I have a strong academic background in Biology through my MBBS degree and ongoing Master of Public Health studies at City St George’s, University of London. My training has provided in-depth knowledge in areas such as human physiology, pathology, and microbiology.
I also have experience in medical research and academic writing, including publications in peer-reviewed journals. This has strengthened my ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and accurately.
Key skills:
Strong subject knowledge in Biology
Ability to simplify complex concepts
Excellent communication and explanation skills
Adaptability to different student learning styles
Structured and exam-focused teaching approach
How I Will Teach
My teaching approach is student-centred, structured, and goal-oriented.
I begin by assessing the student’s current level and identifying gaps in understanding. I then explain concepts in a simple and engaging way, often using real-life clinical examples to make Biology more relatable and easier to remember.
Each session includes:
Clear explanation of key concepts
Active questioning to ensure understanding
Practice questions and exam-style techniques
Regular revision and reinforcement
I adapt my teaching style based on the student’s needs—whether they require help with basics, revision, or exam preparation. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to build confidence and long-term understanding.
