Advert description
I have a first-class degree in Sociology from the University of Sussex, and I’m passionate about making the subject engaging, accessible, and relevant. I love helping students go beyond memorising content—developing real understanding, confidence in essay writing, and a genuine connection to the subject.
I have hands-on teaching experience from working as a primary school teaching assistant across Years 3, 4, and 5. I’ve supported children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and English as an additional language, and have designed and delivered small group interventions in literacy, maths, and speech & language. This teaching experience has made me a patient, adaptable tutor who knows how to tailor learning to suit each student’s needs.
My approach is friendly, clear, and encouraging. I aim to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring complex concepts, and developing strong exam skills. If you’re struggling to understand the difference between positivism and interpretivism, or feeling unsure about the organism analogy, I can help you break down these concepts and make sense of them in a clear, accessible way.
