English tutor offering online lessons; 600 SAT reading section, UCL English BA student

I am an English and writing tutor experienced in both one-on-one tutoring and group lessons. My teaching style focuses on both mastery of content and development of students' pattern recognition, encouraging them to build logic and reasoning skills which will continue to aid them once our lessons are over. I was a writing center tutor at my high school for three years, helping students revise and edit their essays, organize their ideas, and progress with their personal projects. I also tutored small groups online in preparation for the reading section of the SAT, with students of several different English proficiency levels.
