I am a tutor who adapts to the environment of the tutee as well as their individual learning approaches! If a student is unable to grasp the content through one approach, I would take a different angle with them. For instance, if the tutee does not understand the lesson through textbooks, I would attempt using other means - such as listening to popular songs if I am tutoring in languages.
