As an English/French tutor, it is extremely important for me the beginning of my relationship with my student, getting to know my student`s personality traits helps me to decide clearly the best ways to transmit my knowledge based on the particular character and ability to learn of each one of theme despite of their diversity. Taking the time that each student needs to get comfortable around me is considered the first step to get a fascinating result and that is what makes the success of the professor. Confidence is the key of learning and especially when it is about learning new languages, new vocabulary, new culture and new accent. Evaluating their knowledge and understanding their needs will make the progress certain and satisfying as the professor knows the points that need the most of time and work, for example, a boy will be very excited to read a text in English/French about his favourite football gamer and will show so much interest to understand it and analyze it because there where his passion and education meet and that what is known as Personalized Learning. And to finish, helping my students track their progress to see how far they´ve come is definitely the best part of being a professor.
