As a writer with a Master's degree in English, I bring both academic expertise and real-world experience to my teaching. My passion for language, literature, and communication has shaped not only my career but also my approach to helping students discover their own strengths as learners. I believe that English is more than just a subject—it is a powerful tool that enables students to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage with the world around them.

Whether a student requires support with essay writing, literary analysis, grammar, exam preparation, creative writing, or building confidence in spoken and written English, I create a structured yet encouraging environment where they can thrive.

One experience that particularly shaped my approach involved a student who felt overwhelmed by English assignments and frequently described themselves as "bad at writing." Rather than focusing solely on grades, I worked with them to identify their strengths and develop practical strategies for organising their ideas. We broke essays into manageable stages, discussed texts through conversation before writing, and celebrated small improvements along the way. Over time, their confidence transformed. The most meaningful outcome, however, was hearing them say that they had started to enjoy writing.
