Marta in a nutshell
A bit about me:
I’m Marta, I am originally from Portugal. I was born in Lisbon, and I have been living, working, and studying in London since 2014. I first moved here to learn English and learn about other ways of life. I have family connections to the UK, and I have been in the UK ever since.

A bit about me:
I’m Marta, I am originally from Portugal. I was born in Lisbon, and I have been living, working, and studying in London since 2014. I first moved here to learn English and learn about other ways of life. I have family connections to the UK, and I have been in the UK ever since.
I’ve studied Children’s literature at Goldsmiths college, where I did a lot of writing, reading, rewriting, and proofreading my work. I got a good experience in academic writing both from the side of scientific writing and from side of literary analysis, where is more about building a case around one theme.
I work as a freelancer, writing content and working on text for performance. I want to keep in touch with language and its processes, and so offering lessons and company in someone’s journey in learning English, is a way for me to keep in contact with my craft.
I continue my main area of interest in reading psychoanalytic theory and psychology. And I’m working on naturalism in performance. Latest readings: Spoon Rivers Anthology, plays, articles from Private Eye, Byline Times, Current Affairs, The Guardian.

A good way to start I think is by sending me your email; contact; one sentence about why you want to practice English; and what do you mostly talk about in your daily life.
I can start by sharing with you one or two resources with a prompt exercise.

Then you take it from there.

My suggestion for minimum English study per week is:
Basic Pack = [3h]
1h reading/writing – sent by email, day before (e.g. Monday by 10am)
2h speaking – on Zoom or Skype (e.g. Tuesday until 1am or after 7pm-10pm)

My Rates:
Pack of 3h - £60
Single - £30/h
