Advert description
Hi! I’m a research scientist and technical consultant with five years of industry experience working with major market-leading companies, alongside several years of tutoring in STEM subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths).
I’ve worked with students aged 8 to 18 across math, biology, chemistry, and physics—helping them not only excel in exams but also build confidence and a genuine interest in these subjects.
I'm completely flexible in my teaching methods and focus on each student as an individual—tailoring their course to their learning style and pace. We work together until they feel confident and secure in the content, and only then move on to exam skills and techniques.
I believe education shouldn’t be a one-way process of memorization and recall. Instead, it should be a comfortable environment where students feel safe to ask questions, explore, and develop their understanding in a way that works for them. Many students begin with a robotic, fear-driven mindset when it comes to science and math. I deeply enjoy guiding them toward that “Got it!” moment—where the subject becomes engaging, manageable, and even enjoyable.
Teaching Style:
My lessons are structured and student-focused, designed to:
*Build a strong, real-world understanding of each topic
*Increase curiosity and depth through detailed questioning
*Teach the correct terminology and formats examiners expect
*Strengthen confidence through practice and positive reinforcement
*Develop effective exam strategies to reduce stress and improve results
My goal isn’t just top marks—it’s to change how students feel about STEM subjects, making them approachable, exciting, and empowering.
