As a biochemist with a strong academic background in biology, I have studied subjects such as general biology, plant biology, molecular biology, and microbiology in depth. Biology has always been one of my strongest subjects, and during high school I often helped my friends prepare for their biology exams, which gave me valuable informal teaching experience. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand the logic and ‘story’ behind biological concepts rather than simply memorizing information. I believe that once students understand the origins of basic principles and how different topics are connected, biology becomes much easier and more interesting to learn. During lessons, I aim to explain concepts clearly, use simple examples, and adapt my explanations to the student’s level so they can build confidence and truly understand the subject.
