When encouraging my students to tackle a task or subject within maths or physics, I like to break it down into manageable sections whilst delivering it at a suitable pace and level for each student. In order to reinforce the acquired information we then practise with relevant and relatable examples or reworked exam style questions.
To do all of this I often allow students to answer or explain how they would approach a task, then identify key barriers to their learning and work process. By then working with them to fix these key fundamentals it allows them to develop a solid understanding of the said subject.
