Brief summary:
I am a motivated and committed teacher that specialises in teaching a variety of subjects with over 10 years of tutoring experience.

I’m a secondary school science teacher with an MSc in biomedical science (medical microbiology) and a BSc (Hons) in biomedical science. With a deep understanding of scientific concepts and a strong academic foundation, I provide tailored tutoring in A-Level Biology and Chemistry, along with GCSE Maths, Science, and English.

The majority of the pupils earned scholarships, gained admission to grammar schools, secured placements in top sixth forms in the borough, and went on to attend prestigious universities.
My pupils have the highest accomplishment rates in 11+ preparations, GCSE, and A levels and have obtained exceptional results, earning A*/A's (grades 9/8/7).

Personal profile:
I am a proficient educator of young learners who blends enthusiasm, tolerance, and flexibility to establish a supportive and captivating classroom atmosphere. I am an excellent teacher who adapts their approach to match the needs of each student, keeping them involved through innovative and engaging ways because I recognise that every child learns differently. I have many years of experience teaching SEND and behavioural students; establishing a trusting and motivating relationship with students is necessary, allowing them to feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking chances in their education. They will feel more driven to learn where they feel valued and supported.

A clear understanding of expectations and progress is maintained through effective communication with both parents and students. Personalised learning support is offered to close knowledge gaps, reinforce classroom instruction, and strengthen student confidence through tailored guidance and focused attention that extend beyond the traditional classroom experience.

My ultimate goal is to instil a love of learning in students, assisting them in achieving academic success and the confidence and future-ready abilities they will require.
