I’m primary trained but experienced in maths tutoring at secondary level too including GCSE. I’m skilled at working with students who lack confidence in their ability.

I will discuss with the student and relevant adults involved where they feel they need support or lack confidence. I will explain techniques and work through questions with the student, asking them questions and noticing what they are doing to ensure understanding. I will provide practice questions for them to improve skills and gain confidence.
