I’m a patient, approachable tutor aiming my lessons at students who want to improve their understanding and confidence.

My teaching approach is focused on making lessons clear, engaging and suited to each student’s individual needs. I will first identify the topics they find difficult and understand where they are currently at, before creating lessons around those areas. I will explain concepts step by step using simple examples, then gradually introduce more challenging questions as their understanding improves. I will encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling embarrassed, as I believe this is an important part of learning. I will also use exam-style questions to help students apply what they have learned and become familiar with the way topics are tested. Throughout the lessons, I will regularly check their understanding and adapt my teaching where necessary. My aim is not only to improve grades, but also to help students become more confident and independent learners.
